Monthly Favourites: March

Wow what a month it’s been! March was definitely a busy one! But aside from the busy times, there’s been some super rewarding moments and lots of good company and new things to enjoy.

Here’s my monthly favourites that have been getting me through this last month.

Nespresso Citiz Just in case anyone didn’t spot my coffee addiction already…

This Nespresso Machine has been an amazing addition to my kitchen! I love that this model is so much sleeker and compact than my old machine. It comes with the areocchino too which never fails to deliver super silky frothy milk to perfection in 30 seconds… a definite must have companion to your Nespresso machine. I’d highly recommend Nespresso to all coffee lovers out there; great coffee selection (and branded pod alternatives available) sleek designs and great service from the start. It’s also worth mentioning that Nespresso offer a recycling service for your old pods too!

OGX In the last month, I’ve switched to sulphate free hair care and I’m definitely feeling the benefits thanks to the OGX Range.

Sulfates are detergents (cleaning and foaming agents) that are found in most rinse-off products such as shampoos and skin cleansers. You’ll see them on labels as sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium laureth sulfate or ammonium lauryl sulfate. Going sulphate free in terms of shampoo means longer lasting hair colour, less scalp irritation and no fear that you’re stripping away the essential oils in your hair folicles. Sulfate shampoos can also cause untamable frizz, and I’m pretty much like Monica from Friends when that humidity hits, so sulphate free shampoo comes to the rescue!

I’m loving the OGX Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo and my hair feels in such better condition than before.. It’s also great quality and reasonably priced in comparison to other SLS free shampoo’s on the shelves.

Porridge Bowls Yes, nothing new here; I eat porridge every single day and I love it!

It’s a permanent favourite in my life and to be honest, I’ve happily never switched it up! But this last month, I got a bit inventive and made a few variations: like adding carrot to my oats, or throwing in some protein powder with nutty toppings. So I’m saluting being inventive and turning my old favourites into something new again. I tried switching my oats, but I’ll admit, Quaker oats are the winner.

The life-changing magic of tidying up This book by Marie Kondo has hopped off my bookshelf just in time for a spring clean. This read is amazing to not only declutter your living spaces, but to declutter your mind and life! I’ve secretly loved clearing my home on my mission to detoxify my life and gain some clarity, as well as clearing out old things which now leaves me with a home in which a love every item I own. A definite recommend to anyone out there who wants some space, and headspace too!

Epsom Salt Baths Because DOM’s are much more easier to handle after a Epsom salt bath!

Not only that, but putting a scoop or 2 of epsom salt in your bath tub is known to help with treating muscle cramps, migraines, bronchial asthma and healing cuts as well as achey muscles. Soak for 30 minutes and feel the benefits. Any excuse for some time to relax after a gym session!

Those are my top five favourites for this month! Let me know if you love anything mentioned above or if you have any favourites you think I’d enjoy too!
