Bill’s

It’s Friday and what better way to start a weekend with brunch time treats!

Today, my friend Cathy and I met at Bill’s, a new restaurant that has recently opened here in Sheffield. I’ve been walking past it for the last few weeks and heard rumours of good pancakes, so decided today was the day to go and visit!

On the inside, Bill’s looks super cute and cosy. The interior looks very quirky with a mixture of wooden furnishings, glass chanderliers and metal caged goodies on display. Everywhere you look there’s little bit’s and bobs from Bill’s product line, like their chutney’s, specially wrapped chocolate treats, teas, coffees, oils and vinegars that help decorate the surroundings.

On the menu, there was everything from breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner. For me, this makes Bill’s a perfect destination around the clock for any occasion, whether you want to pop in for a coffee or get dinner with friends.

I ordered the blueberry and buttermilk pancakes with bacon (of course!) and they went down a treat! And yes, I sampled the coffee – a macchiato – and let me tell you, it’s good coffee!

To top everything off, tea and conversation was on the cards for a good catch up with Cathy, and the waitress brought over the biggest teapot EVER!

Bill’s is definitely a great addition to Sheffield’s dining scene. It’s relaxed atmosphere and quirky yet cutesy interior makes it feel like a cafe during the day time that can transform into a restaurant at night.

I’ll definitely be visiting again. Thank’s Bill’s!
